Jimmy Craft

Jimmy Craft, 66, of Blakely, GA, passed away Thursday morning, April 28, 2022 in a family home. His funeral will be held on Saturday April 30, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home, Blakely, GA with Danny Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home, Blakely, GA. The family is gathering at the home of Freddy and Tiffany Varnum, 150 Hilton Drive Blakely, Ga. Jimmy was born September 1, 1955 to the late Leroy Craft and Ruth Cox Craft. He spent his life repairing small motors and electronics as well as cutting grass in the community. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to his favorite music on his record player, and fishing. Jimmy never met a stranger and was always sure to greet others with, “Hey, how are you doing?” and a hug. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Barbara Craft Griffin, and 3 brothers, Roger, Ed and Jody Craft, all of Blakely. His survivors include 2 brothers, Bobby Craft, Steve Craft (Filena) all of Blakely and 3 Sister-in-Laws Brenda Craft, Linda Craft, and Delia Craft. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews who were his pride and joy – John Craft, Chris Craft, Wendell Craft, Bobby Joe Craft, Alan Craft, Ladon Craft, Derek Craft, Jody Michael Craft, Keith Craft, Bobby Lee Craft, Chad McFay, Christina Bleckley, Dolly Land, Nichole Santora, Tiffany Varnum, Becky Conner, Amber Tinson, Summer Sanders and Alyssa Sanders, and many other great nieces and nephews.
