Jimmy Max Causey, 67, of Morgan, GA,passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 in Birmingham, AL. due to injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Morgan Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Holdorf officiating and Harvey Causey, Trey Causey, Jeff Causey, Dakota Moore, Scott Willingham, and Rocky Davis serving as active pallbearers.Interment will follow at Morgan City Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born on November 27, 1952 to Harvey Lavoyd Causey and Lula Inez Hill Causey.He was a carpenter throughout his career.In the last few years he was employed by the SOWEGA STEM Charter School where the children lovingly referred to him as "School Grandpa".Away from work, he was a family man that enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and anything he could do to help others.
His survivors include his wife of over 46 years, Wanda Kimbrel Causey; two daughters, Amanda Holden (Kevin) and their children, Allison & Luke, and Kimberly Moore (James) and their children Lori Grace, Dakota & Lauren; and his sister and brothers, Joyce Causey of Arlington, GA, John Causey (Sandra) of Phenix City, AL, and Harvey Causey,Jr. (Sara) of Arlington, GA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Earl Causey and Richard Ely Causey.
