Jimmie was born October 01, 1949 in Midland City, AL to the late Wayne Earl and Nellie Ruth Pippins Adams.He worked in construction for the majority of his career and enjoyed fishing and Alabama Crimson Tide football.Jimmie loved his family and his dear cats, Mollie, Popcorn and Baby Girl.
He is survived by his two sons, Jimmy Adams and his wife Rebecca of Donalsonville and Jeffrey Scott Adams of Blakely; two daughters, Angela Poague and her husband Tim of Iron City and Jennifer Suggs and her husband Bobby of Blakely; a brother, Billy Wayne Adams and his wife Barbara of Albany; a sister, Pauline Grace Hall and her husband Clyde of Slocomb, AL; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends
In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Douglas Poague, a great-granddaughter, Jolene Adams, and a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Adams.
