Jimmy Ronald Pyle, 62, of Blakely passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Jim was born July 02, 1957 in Blakely to the late Davis Sanders Pyle and Jeanette Houston Pyle.Like most men that were raised on a farm, Jim was a jack-of-all-trades.From working as a radio disc jockey in high school to cattle ranching, Jim wore many hats throughout his colorful life.His creative mind was well suited for woodworking, brick masonry, and numerous other construction trades.Though Jim lived a busy work life, he never neglected his role as a caring father, husband, and faithful member of Cedar Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-one years, Marie Bates Pyle; daughters, Rachel Pyle Anderson (Daniel) and their son Levi, of Rome, GA., Staci Pyle Gray (Jarett) of Duluth, GA., and Melissa Pyle Harrell (Aaron) of Thomasville, GA.; his sister, Sammie Pyle Clenney (Lavon) of Colquitt, GA., and numerous extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Davis Sanders Pyle, Jr.
Due to current regulations, the family will be having a private graveside service at the Cedar Springs Freewill Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any local charity of your choice.
