Jesse Ray Regan, Sr., 79, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Willson Hospice Home in Albany, Ga. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 2 PM in the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Early County. Serving as pallbearers will be his 6 sons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1-2 PM.
Mr. Regan was born in Colquitt, Ga. October 23, 1936 to the late Charlie Crozier Regan and Lucy Morning Gibson Regan. He was retired from Fleming Foods in Geneva, Al. as a District Manager. Served in the U.S. Airforce Other than his parents he was preceded in death by 4 brother, David E. Regan, Charles Lindy Regan, Douglas L. Regan and Wallace Regan.
Mr. Regan is survived by 6 sons: Jesse Ray (J.R.) Regan, Jr. of Atlanta; Mike and Barbara Regan of Black, Al; Gary Stewart of Leesburg, Ga; Shane and Tanya Regan of Albany, Ga; Cain and Lucretia Regan of Albany, Ga; and Brent and Terri of Utah. A sister Rebecca (Becky) and Lawson Murkerson of Blakely 1 brothers: Robert Edward and Phylis Regan of Iron City, Ga. and Sister-In-Law, Angie Regan of Donalsonville, Ga. Half-Sister: Dorothy Phillips of Colquitt, Ga. 14 Grandchildren
