Jesse Franklin Baker died early Monday morning, September 16, 2019, at Life Brite Community Hospital of Early in the E. R. His funeral was held on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ft. Gaines Presbyterian Church with Pastor Wade Spooner officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at The Orange County Firefighters' Association Building in Orlando, FL.

Mr. Baker was born on March 3, 1939 in Flower, WV, to the late James Foster Baker and Grace Lucille Collins Baker.He was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the Ft. Gaines Presbyterian Church and he was a retired milkman with Borden Milk Company.Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James McArthur Baker.

His survivors include his wife, Martha Wanda Wiley Baker of Ft. Gaines, GA, two daughters; Leslie Pauline Rodenbrock and Roy of Ft. Gaines, GA, and Laurita Lynne Sweeney and Edward of Orlando, FL, a grandson, Jesse Simmons of Ft. Gaines, GA, one sister, Ethel Irene Pope of Orlando,FL, a niece, Cheryl Gentry and Wes of Orlando, FL, two nephews; Jack Pope, Jr. and Silena of Orlando, FL and Tony Pope and Debbie of Oviedo, FL.
