Jean Dubose Fletcher

Jean DuBose Fletcher of Griffin, GA, passed away at her home Sunday, July 22, 2018. Her funeral will be a graveside service Thursday morning, July 26, 2018 at 11 AM in the Blakely Cemetery with Rev. Tucker Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home starting at 10 Am until 10:40 just prior to the graveside. Jean was born on Nov. 12, 1946 in Blakely, GA to the late James Hollis DuBose and Hazel Chambers DuBose who resides in Griffin, Ga. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS degree in Social Services and received her Masters degree in Special Education from Georgia State University. She retired as the Special Education Teacher from the RYDC of Griffin, GA. She was a member of the First UMC of Griffin, GA.

Other than her Mother, her survivors include her daughter; Allison Fletcher of Griffin, GA, her son; Jason Fletcher and wife Christy of Zebulon, GA and her brother; Dr. James Edward Dubose and his wife Cheryl of Oxford, Ga. There are also 6 grandchildren.
