Janice Abercrombie

Janice Warrick Abercrombie, born in Blakely in 1946, went Home to be with her Lord on December 12, 2022. Janice was born to Luther and Mildred Warrick, raised in Blakely, and a graduate of Blakely High School class of 1964. Afterward, she studied sociology at the University of Georgia, proudly graduating from there in 1968. She spent many years living in Hawkinsville Georgia but has resided in Macon for the last 25 years. Her life was well filled with a love of her four daughters, her grandchildren, and any beloved dogs who had the pleasure of her care. She gave much of herself to numerous ministries as well as many dear friendships. Janice is survived by all of her daughters, Christy, Tisha, Tey, and Jana; her siblings, Luther and Alice; their spouses Judie and Luvon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also boasts 11 wonderful grandchildren. There will be a small graveside service at Blakely Cemetery on Thursday, December 15 at 2pm with Brad Hughes officiating. There will also be a memorial service at Ingleside Baptist Church chapel in Macon on Saturday, December 17 at 1pm officiated by Mark Hudgins. There will be a fellowship visitation afterward in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, Janice would love for donations to be made to one of her favorite ministries, All About Animals or Covenant Academy Prayer Covers, both in Macon Georgia.
