James "Timmy" Temples, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on Monday, October 19, 1959, in Donalsonville, Georgia, James was a lifelong resident of Blakely, GA, where he was cherished by his family and community. Timmy was a dedicated house painter, known for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to his craft. As a self-employed professional, he took great pride in his work, transforming countless homes with his skillful touch. Family was at the heart of Timmy's life. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gail Brown Temples, children, James Tommy Temples, Stephanie Temples Taylor, and William Brandon Temples, all of Blakely. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Piper, Tallulah "Lulu", Jude, Abby, Allison, Waylon, Emmalin, and Emersyn, who brought immense joy to his life. Timmy is also survived by his siblings, David Temples (Pam) of Blakely, Mary Enfinger (Terry) of Fitzgerald, and Stacey Ingram (Brooks) of Blakely, as well as his sister-in-law, Regena Temples of Blakely. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his kindness and sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Granger, and his brothers, Andy Temples and Tommy Temples, who he now joins in eternal rest.
