James Edward Davis

January 27, 1958 — February 28, 2018

James Edward "Eddie" Davis, 60, of Billy Newberry Road, Arlington, GA 39813, passed away Wednesday night, Feb. 28, 2018 at his residence. His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Holdorf and Rev. Sterling Jones officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.

Eddie was born January 27, 1958 in Blakely, GA to the late James Shelton "Buck" Davis and Lynda White Bryan. He was self-employed as a mechanic and was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was also, a lifetime member of the NRA.Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Michael Davis.

His survivors include his wife; Linda Carol Wiley Davis; one son, Rocky Davis and Abby of Morgan, GA; two sisters, Debra D. Williams and AL of Bluffton, GA and Malisa Cox and Dalton of Ft. Gaines, GA; two grandchildren, Emma Madison Davis and Liam Ethan Davis.
