Jimmy Barron, 67, passed away today, May 20, 2019, at his residence 18990-B Highway 39 S., Blakely, GA39823. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating.The family will receive friends for visitation starting at3 p.m. until time for the service.

Jimmy was born in Blakely, GA on April 1, 1952 to the late Leroy Barron and Betty McGlamory Cleveland of Blakely, GA 39823.He was of the Baptist faith and a truck driver for FedEX Freight. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era.Other than his father he was preceded in death by his step father, Mallie Cleveland.

Other than his mother, his survivors include is his wife, Marlene Wilkerson Barron of Blakely, GA, one daughter, Virginia Kay Barron and Jose' of Amsterdam, Netherlands, a son Brian Wilkerson, Blakely, GA, one sister Sherry Hughes and James (Pee Wee) of Blakely, GA and one grandson, Jose' Noel Felipe Barron of the Netherlands.
