Jack Hilbourne Sutton, 81, of Jakin, Ga. passed away Friday morning, June 15, 2018,at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center, Dothan, AL. Funeral service will be Monday, June 18, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Jakin Methodist Church, Jakin, GA with Rev. George Masciarelli, Rev. Dan Harper and Rev. Ramon Hernandez officiating.Burial will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens, Donalsonville, GAwith Military rites.Bruce Horn, John Mosely, Mark Hanna, Hudson Hanna, Phillip Buckhalter, Phil Buckhalter, Phillip Evans and Cody Buckhalter serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Board Members of the Bank of Early and One South Financial Inc.The family will receive friends for visitation at the Jakin Methodist Church beginning at 10 a.m. until funeral time.They will also received friends and family at their home.

Mr. Sutton was born in Donalsonville, GA, June 20, 1936, to the late Jesse Hilbourne Sutton and Mayes Mosely Sutton. He was a member of the Jakin Methodist Church and was Vice President of Bank of Early from 1965 until 2001.He received his AS degree from Norman Jr. College. He was a US Army veteran and member of the Lions Club, Shriners and Masons.Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Wichman and one nephew, Mike Wichman.His survivors include his wife, Betty Swann Sutton; two daughters, Angela Musselwhite and Bill of Greenville, SC and Shannon Crumbaugh and Grant of Pine Village, IN.He also is survived by six grandchildren; Brittany Wylie and Allen of Greenville, SC, Andi Musselwhite and fiance' Peter Zender of Charlotte, NC, Carrie Tolbert and Willz of Greenville, SC, Nala, Sutton and Tucker Crumbaugh, Pine Village, IN.He has two great grandchildren; Will and Robert Wylie, Greenville, SC.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or Jakin Methodist Church.
