Jack Smith

Jack Smith of Brinson, GA passed away on April 14, 2023, in Thomasville, GA at Archibold Hospital in the hospice unit. Jack was born June 20, 1949 to the late Eunice Gordon Smith and Charlie Madison Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Smith Dixon and his brother Raymond "Shorty" Smith. He has a grandaughter, Emily Slade and a grandson, Tyler Dixon. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and Charlie Madison Smith, one sister, Rita Faye Smith and two brothers; Charles Smith and Perry Goolsby. Jack enjoyed fishing and talking friends and family and he never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor. He loved netting, camping out with friends and family. He was a very devoted hard worker and retired from AMOCO Fabrics in Bainbridge, GA. Visitation will be held at Manry Jordan Hodges Home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 and the funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.
