Herbert Ray Horn, 83, of Milledgeville, GA passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Oconee Regional Medical Center, Milledgeville, GA.. He was bornin Blakely, GA on October 7,1933.Mr. Horn was a carpet layer in the construction business.He was of the Lutheran faith and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict.Herbert was preceded in death by his wife; Irmgard Maria Horn;parents, John Gilbert Horn and Chloe Elizabeth Weaver Horn; and 4 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by his sister, Betty Gibson of Graniteville, SC. and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 1:00 PM EDT, at the Grier Cemetery in Blakely, GA. with Rev. Jonathan Fuller officiating.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 26, from 8- 9 PM EDT at Manry- Jordan- Hodges Funeral Home, Blakely, GA.Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
