Henry Douglas Hamilton, 72, of Blakely passed away suddenly on Friday morning, July 10, 2020, at his residence.

The funeral service will be held at White Plains Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, July 13, 2020, at 11 a.m. with interment following in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

Henry was born March 01, 1948 in Chattahoochee, Florida to the late Henry and Lula Mae Weeks Hamilton.He was a mechanic at Brew Schneider Manufacturing Co. for numerous years along with working on small engines.Henry always kept up with the news and enjoyed history and watching westerns.When the pecans were falling,he stayed busy harvesting and shelling and was a member of White Plains Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda White Hamilton; three daughters, Wendy H. Tello and her children, Julia and Christian, Kristal Houston (Kevin) and son Nicholas, and Danielle Hamilton and her children, Dalayla, Brayden and Karson; a son, Tim Hamilton of Youngstown, FL; siblings, Ida Mae Harris of Cottonwood, AL, Archie Hamilton (Tammy) of Tallahassee, Voncille Buri (Ted) of Nebraska, and Terry Jeta of Iowa, a special friend and Godmother to his children, Patsy Bundy; and numerous extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Nicholas Hamilton and two sisters, Marie and Addie Lee Parker (Lawrence).
