Heath Mcdowell

Heath McDowell passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 Heath was born February 7, 1968 in Arlington GA to E. LaDon McDowell and Wyline Barron McDowell. Other than his parents he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Connie Lynne Smith McDowell, 3 daughters: Lauren Engram (Brad), Heather Dykes (Kyle), Leah Graham (Hudson) ; one brother Eddie McDowell (Vivian); 8 grandchildren: Emily, Keely, and Parker Engram, Kohl, Kayli, and Halle Dykes, Libby and Sawyer Graham, one aunt: Regina Barron, and several cousins. Heath was preceded in death by his grandparents: Willet & Pearl McDowell & M. Wiley& Hellen Barron, one aunt Do’Lores McDowell and two uncles Frank Barron and Monroe Barron. Heath loved anything to do with being outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, riding horses, and all sports. Mac Mac loved his grandchildren and was very proud of all 8 of them. He loved all three of his girls and was just as proud of them. He was most proud of still holding the state record for triple jump. He worked for Connor Boney and enjoyed working and spending time with him, Katie, Emmie, Lillie, Bubba, and their extended family. Memorial service will be Thursday, May 25, at 10:00 AM at New Hope Baptist Church. The family requests all family and friends attending to wear casual attire.
