Gordon Williams, 86, passed away at his home on October, 30, 2021.A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery,Arlington, GA.

Mr. Williamswas born October 26, 1935 to the late George Patillo Williams, Sr. and Lille Mae Strickland Williams.He served in the Air Force and loved to travel with his tours to various countries.He was a carpenter by trade and loved horses and tending to his animalsat his "goat pen".Getting up early and working out was a favorite thing he did along with riding motorcyles.He was good in sports in high school where he enjoyed track and field, and basketball. He loved sweets and expecially ice cream.Other than his parents, he was preceded in death byone brother, George P. Williams, Jr. and a sister Myra Ann Mainor.

His survivors include his wife of 59 years, Maxine Williams, a son, Gordon M. (Tjuana W. ) Williams, two daughters, Wanda (Gene) Harrell, Cindy (Jason Sheffield) Williams, two grandchildren; Holly (Jeremy)Scarborough and Drew Harrell, two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Jackson Scarborough.
