Gerald Duane Malsch

Gerald Duane (Jerry) Malsch, 89, of Arlington, Ga. passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Early Memorial Nursing Home. A private Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 at Salem Baptist Cemetery in Edison, Ga. at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Malsch was born July 28, 1934 in Baroda, Michigan to Ora Otis Malsch and Irene Heinrick Malsch. He was married to the late Myrle “Eve” Malsch. He served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of the American Legion. He was a pipefitter/welder with Union 469. In addition to his parents, Mr. Malsch was predeceased by his wife, Myrle “Eve” Malsch, daughters Geri McChristian and Patricia Swanson, a brother, Larry Malsch, and sisters, Wilma Blain and Mary Lou Hercik. He is survived by daughters Michelle Mainor (Glenn) of Arlington, Ga., Glynda Leary of Cleveland, Ohio, Bobbie Poor (Tim) of Joplin, Mo., and Sharon Mazurek of Murray, Ky., and siblings Jack Malsch (Marie) of Michigan and Judy Malsch of Michigan. Mr. Malsch is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
