George Hudson

George Hudson, 82, of Cedar Springs passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hudson was born in Houston County, AL (Grangerburg) to his late parents, Bernard “Teenie” and Juanita Dickerson Hudson. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-12 prior to services. Mr. Hudson will be laid to rest in the Liberty Assembly of God Church cemetery, Cedar Springs, GA, beside his wife, Betty Hudson following the services. Mr. Hudson was a retired Steel Mill worker, spending his years with Georgia Tubing. Survivors include children, Joy Marchman (Steve) of Dothan, Cindy Snell (Eddie) of Donalsonville, Bobbie Lonsdale (Guy) of Donalsonville, Wayne Cherry of Michigan. Sister, Elizabeth “Sally” Spencer of Cottonwood, and Connie Proper (John Wayne) of Kinsey, AL. A very special Great-Nephew, Hudson Jones. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
