The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, in the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home.Interment will follow at Cedar Springs Cemetery.The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Heaven's Way Biker Church, 3924 Woodrest Rd., Cottondale, FL32431.
Frank was born in Blakely on July 16, 1945 to the late Doster Brown McGlamory and Ina Mae Garrett McGlamory.He was an electrician by trade and worked at Georgia Pacific for numerous years and later with the City of Blakely electrical department from where he retired after twenty-five years.Along with collecting, especially vases and other glass art, Frank enjoyed racing and loved riding motorcycles.As a member of Heaven's Way Biker Church in Cottondale, FL, he used his hobby to witness to others and will always be remembered for his trademark beard and the casket he pulled behind his bike.Frank was also a member of Alford Baptist Church, Alford, FL.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Doster McGlamory, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy McGlamory; a daughter, Deeann Aday of Donalsonville, GA and her three children, Eric Lee Aday , Kristal Aday, and Joshua Aday; a son, Patrick McGlamory of Thomasville, GA and his two children, Heather & Patrick, Jr.; two stepdaughters, Tessa Schulmeister of Greenwood, FL and her two children, Andy & Gus, and Larrissa Purswell of Ashford, AL and her two children, Tristin & Gabriel, along with numerous extended family members and friends.
