Francis Stanley McGriff, 78, of 15004 River Street, Blakely, GA, died early Friday morning, November 17, 2017 at his residence.His desire was to be cremated with no formal services.

Mr. McGriff was born September 29, 1939 in Edison, GA to the late Charles Ross McGriff, SR and Lorene Sanders McGriff.He was self-employed carpenter and a member of the Edison Church of Christ.Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Gaye Denise Miller.

His survivors include his granddaughter, Victoria Frances McGriff and Trey Payne of Blakely, GA; two step-daughters, Pamela Jarrell and David of Blakely, Marian Cook and Danny of Athens, AL; and two step-sons, Jerome Bridges and Melissa Duke of Blakely, GA and Eddie Bridges and Heather of Georgetown, GA.
