Ethan Gregory Miller, 17, of 88 Dogwood Lane, Blakely, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at the Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, AL.The family will have a visitation Saturday evening, October 19, 2019, from 6 to 8 pm at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.Ethan will be transported to Montlawn Funeral Home in Raleigh, NC and a graveside service is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 3 p.m. at The Montlawn Cemetery.

Ethan was born on April 28, 2002, in Matthews, NC, to his parents Michael Darnell Miller and Jennifer Marie Fowler Miller of Blakely, GA. He was a senior at Early County High School and played the saxophone for the Early County High School Band of Blue. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and he was a member of the Boy Scout Troop 92. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ellen Nadine Miller.

Other than his parents he is survived by one brother, Avery Miller of Blakely, his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary Lou Fowler of Concord, NC, a paternal grandfather and step grandmother, Walter Peter Miller and Patricia of Pittsboro, NC, and a maternal great grandmother, Lucy Simon.He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
