Elizabeth Pridgeon Mathis

Elizabeth Pridgeon Mathis age 96, passed away at Hospice and Palliative Care of Piedmont Greenwood, South Carolina on June 21, 2023 surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at Arlington Methodist Church, Arlington, Ga at 1:00p.m. Graveside Service will follow in the Arlington Oak Grove Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Turner Bostwick officiating. Elizabeth was born December 10, 1926 in Terrell County Georgia. She lived in Arlington, GA for many years and retired from Bostwick Banking Company after 35 years. She moved to Greenwood, South Carolina in 1999 where she became a member of Tranquil United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerald Cecil Mathis, and her brother Charles Raymond Pridgeon. She is survived by her daughters, Linda M. Kellam, with whom resided with, Jane Mathis Price (Fred) of Greenwood, S.C. one niece and one nephew.
