Elizabeth Douglas Brooks

Elizabeth Douglas Brooks, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Pioneer Community Hospital of Early, Blakely, GA.There will not be a funeral service.

Mrs. Brooks was born July 1, 1936, to the late Coy Douglas and Pauline Watkins.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blakely and she drove a bus for the Early County School System for 31 years.Other than her parents she was preceded in death by William H. Kimbrell, O. Robert Brooks and son, James W. Kimbrell all of Blakely.

Her survivors include two daughters; Linda Kimbrell Coleman-Ford and husband Carl of Birmingham, AL, Cindy Kimbrell Mulkey and husband Danny of Blakely one son, David Allen Kimbrell and wife Alisha of Lewisville, TX one sister, Lydia Berry of Dothan, AL.There are five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
