Earl Frank (Hambone)Cherry passed away Sunday afternoon, July 16, 2017, at his residence, 7605 Highway 27, Blakely, GA39823.The family will hold a memorial service Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 3 p.m. at the residence on Highway 27.Family members that would like to speak at his Eulogy are welcome to do so.
Earl (Hambone) Cherry was born on February 7, 1942 in Cottonwood, AL to the late Johnny Cherry and Ellie Thomas Cherry.He was a plumber and electrician in the construction business.
His survivors include his significant other, Judy Tyson of Blakely, a daughter, Tonya Battles and a son, Michael Cherry both of Blakely.There are 4 step-daughters;Kay White and Billy of Blakely, Tricia Taylor of Blakely, Shannon Voorhees and Steven of Sylvester, GA and Felisa Hubbard and Nathan of Ft. Gaines, GA; one step-son, Joel Tye and Kearston of Ft. Gaines, GA.There are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He has four sisters; Mary Elizabeth Ezell and Bridges of Blakely, Lynda Ivey of Pine Mountain, GA, Evelyn Simpson Mulkey and Ronnie, andGloria Love and William all of Blakely, GA; a brother, Johnny Mack Cherry and Merle of Chipley, FL.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son; Charles Wesley Cherry,four sisters; Eloise Cherry Nobles, Debra Cherry McCoy, Joanne Cherry Swords, and Nellie Ruth Cherry Peterson.
