Clyde Douglas (Doug) Logan, Jr. 66, of 209 Sunset Point Road, Ft. Gaines, GA39851 passed away Sunday night March 26, 2017 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL.His funeral will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Arlington Baptist Church, Arlington, GA with Rev. Ryan Mason officiating.The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the home in Ft. Gaines.They also, will receive friends March 29, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 1: 45 p.m. at the Arlington Baptist Church.Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery.Pall bearers will be Mike Hattaway, Pat Tillman, Cole and Kyle Odom, Kevin, Kohler and Storm Tabb, Don Phillips, Jr., and Michael Bryant.

Doug was born on September 13, 1950 in Forest Park Georgia to the late Clyde Douglas Logan, SR and his mother Ruth Carolyn Logan of Stockbridge, GA,He was the plantation manager for DeSoto Springs Plantation of Arlington, GA and he was of the Baptist faith.He was a US Marine veteran of the Vietnam War.

Other than his mother, he is survived by his wife Cloie "Ella" Taliaferro Logan of Ft. Gaines, GA, two daughters; Leslie L. Bryant and Matt of Fayetteville, GA, and Ashley L. Sharp and Brad of Newnan, GA, a sister; Melanie Routh of McDonough, GA; three grandchildren; Bryson Logan, Brayden Sharp both of Newnan, GA, and Aubrey Bryant of Fayetteville, GA.
