Donald Naramore, 67, of 430 County Road 237, Shorterville, AL 36373 passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017.His funeral will be Friday, October 20, 2017, at Bethel Baptist Church (Clay County) at 2 p.m. with Dr. Michael Warren, Richard Coats, Joe King, and Jasper Doswell officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. at the church.Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Ricky Simpson, Preston Dykes, Johnathan Simpson, Jasper Doswell, Darrell Doswell, and Tony Gentry serving as pallbearers.Honorary pallbearer will be Chester Christian.

Don was born June 13, 1950 in Fort Gaines, GA to the late Thomas H. Naramore and Annette Weems Naramore.He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and drove a log truck for Graham Timber Company, Fort Gaines, GA.

His survivors include his wife, Miriam Greene Naramore; one daughter, Teresa Dykes and husband Cliff of Blakely, GAa son, Ricky Simpson and wife Lisa of Shorterville, AL.; twin sisters, Rhonda and husband Johnny Crowdis of Blakely, Wanda and husband Ivan Minks of Barnesville, GA; one brother, Thomas (Tommy) Naramore and wife Mary of St. Augustine, FL.His grandchildren are Ashley Dykes, Preston Dykes, Samantha Cowart, Johnathan Simpson and Thomas Simpson.
