Don Richard Crozier, 73, of Blakely passed away on Friday morning, August 06, 2021, at Southeast Health in Dothan.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 9th, in Blakely Cemetery with Rev. Keith Alderman and Rev. Lyle Brackin officiating. Past and present Early County High School Tennis Team members will serve as honorary pallbearers. Viewing will be available on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Manry -Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home for those wishing to pay their final respects. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Don was born in Cairo, GA on March 28, 1948 to the late Christopher Columbus Crozier, Jr. and Mamie Elizabeth Stamps Crozier. He was a graduate of Randolph County High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Georgia Southwestern State University. Following and during his lengthy career as a salesman in the paper product industry, Don dedicated countless hours to numerous projects throughout Early County. In addition to helping with the Early County Bobcat's Tennis Team, he was also the football announcer for many years. Don was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Blakely where he served as a deacon and was a member of the Bradley Bridges Sunday School Class. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joy Grimsley Crozier, and two siblings, Addie Taylor and Bobby Crozier.
Survivors include his two sons, Jamey Crozier (Jill) of Atlantic Beach, FL and Josh Crozier (Shelley) of Cumming, GA and their children, Paige & Brooks; two siblings, Sandra Peak of Cordele, GA and Chris Crozier (Andrea) of Gainesville, GA; and a sister-in-law, Glenda Crozier of Cuthbert, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
