Dianna Ruth Smith, 71, of Pansey, AL passed away on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 22, 2018 in the Southeast Health Hospital in Dothan, Al.Her Graveside Service will be Monday, November 26, 2018, at 11 a.m. EST at the Cedar Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Jackie Smith and Mr. Darrell Glass officiating. Pallbearers will be Bud, Cadsen and Kyle Clark, George Wilson, Alan Ham and Bradley Thomas.The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. EST at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.
Ms. Smith was born on December 15, 1946 to the late Herman Junior Helvey and Ruby Hawks Helvey in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Way Church in Ashford, AL and was secretary for the Wiregrass Area Food Bank in Dothan, AL.Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Dannie Helvey .

Her survivors include three daughters; Denise (Pat) McCrackin,Blakely, GA, Dawn (Zac) Morris, Cottonwood, AL, Dede (Chris) Adkins, Marianna, FL and one son, Dwayne (Jeanne) Goodwin of Geneva, AL.She is also survived by two sisters:Yvonne (Raymond) Russell of Farmington, MO, and Annette (Steve) Eaton of Park City, MO and a brother, Dennis (Donna) Helvey of Park City, MO.There are also 10 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.
