Dian "Ann" Jones, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in Brandon, Florida. Born on September 4, 1939, in Miami, Florida, Dian lived a life full of love, creativity, and service to others. Dian dedicated her professional life to helping others as a Respiratory Therapist, a career that showcased her compassion and commitment to the well-being of those in her care. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her work, as she was an active member of Southside Baptist Church, where she shared her faith and kindness with her community. An artist at heart, Dian had a passion for painting and was known for creating beautiful pictures that she generously shared with those around her. Her artistic talent was a reflection of her vibrant spirit and her ability to see beauty in the world. Dian is survived by her loving children, Jeffrey Wild (Patricia) of Brandon, Florida, and Christopher Wild (Debra) of The Villages, Florida. She was a proud grandmother to Casey Wild, Christina Dickson (Justin), Brittney Hulsebus (Halen), and Jeffrey Wild, Jr., and a cherished great-grandmother to Aubrey Riches, Ace Dickson, and Nash Hulsebus. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian Schollenberger, and her beloved spouse, George “Foots” Jones. A graveside service to honor and celebrate Dian's life will be held at Blakely Cemetery in Blakely, Georgia, on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Ronald Waters officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Southside Baptist Church of Blakely, a place that held a special place in Dian's heart. Dian "Ann" Jones will be remembered for her warmth, her artistic spirit, and her unwavering love for her family and community.
