Dennis Earl (Doc)Pugh, 66, of 17172 Cedar Springs Rd., Blakely, Ga. passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 in the E. R. of Pioneer Community Hospital& in Blakely. His funeral will be held Thursday morning, June 30, 2016, at 11 AM EDT in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Murkerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery. The family will have a visitation Wednesday evening, June 29, 2016, from 6 until 8 PM EDT at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be;:Clay Houston, Nicky Tedder, Tim Elliott, Casey White. Trey Smith and Ronnie Shivers

Dennis was born on September 10, 1949 in Atmore, Al to Howard Pugh of The Villages, Florida, and the late Leila Elizabeth Parker Pugh. He was retired from the Maintenance Department of Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Cedar Springs, Ga. and he was an avid motorcycle rider. Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Kirsten Pugh.

His survivors include a daughter: Brandy P. Phillips and Jason of Killeen, TX, a son, Jonathan Pugh of Blakely, GA, his father, Howard Pugh of The Villages, Florida, a sister, Debra P. Peters and Joe of Athens, GA and a brother: William Pugh and Caitlin of Nashville, TN. There are also 8 grandchildren: Caileigh Pugh, Scott Pugh, Blake Pugh, Gabriel Pugh, Jordan Johnson & husband Colton, Anna Holt, Cierra Phillips and Nicholas Phillips and 1 great granddaughter; Kynslie Stewart.
