Debbie Freeman, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and dedicated nurse, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, at the age of 64. Debbie was born on Saturday, September 17th, 1960, in Elba, Alabama, and resided in Blakely, Georgia. Debbie devoted her life to caring for others, working as a nurse at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to her patients and colleagues will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her loving children, daughter Cheri Tatum (Steven) of Blakely, GA, and sons Jesse Paramore of Blakely, GA, and Art Freeman II (Kelly) of Flowery Branch, GA, and her loving mother Mary Nell Bass. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Mary Helen Tatum, Lilly Tatum, and Madison Paramore. Debbie is also survived by her brothers Donald Bass (Fely) of Hammond, LA, Keith Bass of Hammond, LA, and Ted Bass of New Brockton, AL, as well as her sisters Brenda Howard (Rick) of Enterprise, AL, and Sarah McMahon (Rick) of Enterprise, AL. She was preceded in death by her father Donald Keith Bass, and her beloved spouse Art Dewayne Freeman. A graveside service to honor and celebrate Debbie's life will be held at Grier Cemetery on Monday, September 30th, 2024, at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Tom Cilburn officiating. Debbie Freeman's legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
