Davey L Dupree

Davey L. Dupree, 70, of Bluffton, Ga. passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Early Memorial Nursing Home. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Rev. Michael Williams will be officiating. Mr. Dupree was born March 28, 1953 to Larin Lee Dupree and Hazel Jones Grier. He worked in commercial construction and loved music, especially guitars. He attended Bluffton Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dupree was predeceased by a son, Curtis “Curt” Dupree and a brother, Donnie Dupree. He is survived by a son, Kyle Dupree of Blakely, Ga., step-daughter, Brandi Varnum, grand-daughter, Kelsey Dupree, brothers Bobby Dupree of Ft. Gaines, Ga., and Robert Grier (Shelley) of Colquitt, Ga., and a sister, Linda Kay of Atlanta, Ga. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
