Cornelia Baxley Holley

Cornelia Baxley Holley, 75, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was retired from her work as a loan officer at First Franklin Financial, where she was lovingly called "Corn" by her coworkers. Cornelia enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and spending time with her friends at the Blakely Senior Center. She adored her family and being a Shortnanny to her grandchildren and great grands. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Waller (Teddy), and her son, Donnie Holley, 4 grandsons; Ted Waller III (Ryan), Dean Waller (Stephanie), Eric Holley, and Dalton Holley; 2 great grandchildren, Ruby Waller and Harvey Waller, 2 sisters, Priscilla Atterberry (Boyd) , Zada Baxley; and 1 sister-in-law, Lois Baxley Hickox. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Elma Baxley, 3 brothers; Tolbert Baxley, Oree Baxley, and Walter Frank Baxley, and 3 sisters; Patricia Newman, Connie Creel, and Edith Holley. Visitation will be held at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home Monday, March 20, 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Southside Baptist Church Tuesday, March 21 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mark Mercer officiating. Internment will follow at Bush Cemetery in Cuba. Pallbearers will be Tripp Waller, Dean Waller, Eric Holley, Dalton Holley, Bruce Wilson, and Vensent Atterberry.
