Collier Gleaton, Jr., 59, of Arlington Georgia, died of cancer at his home on June 21,2021.

Collier was born on July 4, 1961 in Arlington, GA.He was raised by his father Collier Gleaton Sr, and Grandmother Mary" Wink" Gleaton. He attended Calhoun County Schools and was a graduate of Andrew College in Cuthbert, Ga. Collier was a farmer for over 40 years, having worked for Ike and Mike Newberry at Hillside Farms throughout his entire career. He was a devoted family man, taking care of his family was always his most important job. Collier was an avid reader and he loved gardening and cooking, all of which he was he was great at. He could build anything and he took great pride in the projects he and his wife Pheadra (Mama) created together. They were a beautiful couple who were perfect together. Family vacations were the highlight of his year, seeing his children happy was what he lived for. He was a wonderful father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be truly missed.

Collier was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary "Wink" Gleaton, his father Collier Gleaton Sr, his beloved wife Pheadra Gleaton and son Leland Gleaton.

He is survived by his granddaughter Kimberly Gleaton, whom he raised, his daughter Danielle Williams (Jerric) of Smyrna, Tennessee, son Mathew Neal (Teshayana) of Ocala FL; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly and Alex Gleaton, Jerric, Jr. and Kaylin Williams, and Ayden and Brayden Neal; his brothers Raymond Gleaton of Arlington, Gary Gleaton (Cheryl) of Blakely and a sister Jan Milner (Sonny) of Morgan, andseveral nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral home; Wednesday, June 23rd, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requestdonationsbe made in Collier's name toa children's hospital or hospice.
