Clarence Elwood Martin, III, 58, passed away at Southeast Health Medical Center on Saturday, March 7, 2020.
A memorial service will be held at Colomokee Baptist Church, Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. T. J. Bennett officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service.Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Ragan, Chet Chester, Scott Sammons, David Martin, Dan Wasdin, Gloria Young, Denise Abrams, Johnny Gilbert, Carruth Henderson, and Donna Hornung.
Clarence was born in Blakely onJune 10, 1961, to the late Clarence Elwood Martin, Jr. and Gloria Sammons Martin.He was a 1979 graduate of Early County High School and attended Valdosta State College. He was a member of Colomokee Baptist Church, a loving father, and was self-employed as a locksmith. Clarence enjoyed gardening and cooking for his family and friends.He was especially proud of his tomatoes.
Survivors include his children, Julia Nichole Martin and Christian Tello; a brother, James David Martin and wife, Bronwyn Ragan-Martin of Bluffton, GA.; and numerous extended family members and friends.
