Cindy Chapman

March 16, 1948 — May 13, 2020

Cynthia Catherine Chapman, 72, of Blakely passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at her residence.

Cindy was born March 16, 1948 in Blakely to the late Charlie Cecil and Marie Williams Dubose.She enjoyed her horses and all other aspects of farm life. Quilting was one of her favorite hobbies but paled in comparison to the the love she had for her family, especially her three grandchildren.Cindy was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Chad Chapman and wife Mandy of Blakely and their children, Abby, Emma & Joe; her sister, Ramelle Middleton of Ft. Gaines; and numerous extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Chapman.

A graveside service, respecting current social isolation protocols, will be held at Centerville Methodist Cemetery on Friday, May 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the fence fund at Centerville United Methodist Church, Attn: Jane Chandler, Treasurer, 5306 Three Notch Rd., Blakely, GA39823.
