Charlie Louis Eaton, Jr., 62, of 939 Old River Rd., Blakely, Ga. passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at the Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 at 11 AM EDT in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the service at 11.
Mr. Eaton was born on Nov. 3, 1953 in Cuthbert, GA to the late Charlie Lewis Eaton, Sr. and Alma Olevia McGee Eaton. He was retired as a Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic from the Marine Corp Logistics Base in Albany, GA. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War.
His survivors include his wife: Sandra Eaton of Blakely, GA; 2 daughters: Vanessa Kay Eaton Tindel and Jay of Thomasville, GA and Jeanie Olevia Eaton Cherry and Jason of Arlington, Ga. There is a step-daughter:Becky Eubanks and Derek of Edison, Ga. and a step-son: Jason Randall Odom and Denise of Macon, Ga. Charlie has 2 brothers: Sam Eaton and Annie of Blakely, GA and David Eaton and Linda of Dothan AL and there are 2 grandchildren:Amrie Tindel and Priya Odom and 3 step-grandchildren: Deion, Deantonise and Derand Sellers. He also has a nephew, Adam Eatonand a niece Kim Eaton,and a great niece Kaylynn Hunter, all of Dothan, AL.
