Charles David Wilmet, 55, of 281 Reese Road, Blakely, GA, passed away, June 12, 2018, at his residence.A memorial graveside service at the George Cemetery will be held on July 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Rev. ZethSmith officiating. Charles' cousin, David Logan, will play taps.He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, Blakely, GA and he was a jet mechanic in the US Air Force.He worked several years as a diesel mechanic for John Deere.Charles was born December 1, 1962 to the late James Wilmet and Carole Roberts Ross.
His survivors include two sons; Adam Wilmet and Jackie of Naples, FL and David Wilmet and Samantha of Tallassee, AL.He is also survived by one sister, Cheryl Goddard of Valley, AL and four grandchildren.
