On November 26, 2021, Charles B. Porter passed away at his home.He was born on January 18,1940 in Hillsborough County, Florida to the late Charles E. and Evelyn Elam Porter.He was a 1958 graduate of Morgan High School in Morgan, Georgia.He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Randolph County.He was employed at Pennisula St. Bank in Tampa, the Bank of Edison, and PM Reid Insurance Agency.Following that he was Probate Judge of Calhoun County for 22 years.He and his wife owned and operated one of the oldest pork producers in the state for 20 years.
He is survived by wife of 63 years, Vivian Louise Mote Porter, 3 daughters; Alesia Simmons (Dan), Allison McLendon, Linda Porter, 3 granddaughters; Vivian Meams (Dee), Rachel Hosmer (James), and Kathleen Odom (Kyle), and 1 great-grandson, Jackson.

Mr. Porter will be cremated per his request with no visitation.His ashes will be intermed in Morgan cemetary at a later day.Anyone who wishes to honor his memory may be so by donating to Morgan Cemetary Fund c/o Laura Clements Morgan, Georgia.
