Charles Joseph McCorkle, 74, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. His family has had he body cremated and a memorial service may be held at a later date. Charles was born in Colquitt, Ga. on July 6, 1941 to the late Maurice Marvin McCorkle and Beulah Bundy McCorkle. He was a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

His survivors include 4 sons: Jeffery, Roy, Terry and Charles McCorkle, Jr., all of Tennessee and a daughter Toina Matthews of Florida. He has a brother: Jimmy McCorkle of Blakely and a sister: Shirley Spence of Tallahassee, Fl.
