Charles Edward Bass

Charles Edward "Bud" Bass of Ashford, AL, passed on Sunday evening, September 5, 2021, at Flowers Hospital.

A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021,at 10 a.m. in Mars Hill Cemetery with Bro. Jackie Williams officiating.

Charles was born July 4, 1943, the second son to the late Thomas Issac Bass, Sr., and Nellie Ruth Adams Bass in Edison, GA. "Bud", as he was affectionately called, had a big heart and loved everyone.During his lifetime he was faced with many challenges that he overcame by the Grace of God.The family moved to Ashford, AL in the 70's and Bud flourished and made many friends and had a wonderful careet of twenty years at King's Church Furniture.He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church, Ashford, AL.He was preceded in death by a brother Thomas J. Bass, Jr.

Survivors include, Brother James L. Bass (Peggy) Tifton, GA,sister Elaine Ledden (Royce) Leesburg, GA, brothersRandy M. Bass (Betsy) Ashford, AL, Robert Webb Bass Dothan, AL, and Rickey Bass Ashford, AL and several nieces and nephews.
