Carol was born December , 1,1956 in Blakely, GA to her late parents Willie Jim and Shelby Jean (Johns) Jackson.

Carol is survived by her companion of over 19 years Joseph S. Dean, Ellijay, GA, brothers Jimmy Warren Jackson, Blakely, GA, Johnny Royce Jackson, Blakely, GA, nephews Brandon Jackson, Dustin Jackson, Cameron Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, 3 great nieces, and 5 great nephews also survive.
