Carol Kohler

December 11, 1928 — May 19, 2020

Carol Darlene Kohler 91, of Blakely, Ga., passed away May 19, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Kohler was born in Bismarck, North Dakota to the late Floyd Milton Payne-Rogers and Blanche Agnes Bain.
Carol was a loving and very caring person. She loved children, crocheting, crossword puzzles, a good joke, and family get-togethers.
Survivors include daughters; Cheryl Lynne Kohler, Melanie Jean Dodd, two sisters; Myrt Akin and Fern Mainor, one brother; Orville Payne.
One grand-daughter; Lisa Ann Dodd Whitehurst and husband Kenneth E. Whitehurst, three great-grand children; Megan Amber Dodd, Ryan Tyler Whitehurst, and Dalton Michael Whitehurst.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband; Robert C. Kohler, daughter; Colleen Marie Kohler, son; Loren Wayne Kohler, sisters: Evelyn Strickland, Jeanette Nolan. Brothers; Lawrence Payne, Donald Payne, Willis Payne, and Gordon Payne.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private family service.
Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
