March 27, 1936 — April 8, 2023

Carol Isler Adams, 87 years young of Coleman, GA passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 at 2 pm at Enterprise Baptist Church, Edison, GA. Visitation will be held in the Enterprise Baptist Church Fellowship hall from 1 – 2 pm. Michael Douglas will officiate. Carol was an active member of Enterprise Baptist Church and her Older Adult Sunday School class. Carol was a retired legal secretary and licensed insurance agent with Willis DuVall-Edison Insurance Agency, Edison, GA. Carol had a love for animals but had a very special feline friend “Little Girl”. Carol had a “green thumb” in raising African Violets. In caring for those African Violets, she only watered them on Monday’s. She also enjoyed cooking, especially something sweet. Carol was born March 27, 1936 in Edison, GA to John Coy Isler and Hilda Bass Isler of Coleman, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Melvin Isler, Johnny Isler and sisters Marie Sanborn and Betty Boyett. Survivors include: A VERY SPECIAL friend and spouse, Ross Kelly, a brother Gerald Isler, 2 sisters Mary Barham and Polly Chapman (Gerald). Even though Carol never had any children of her own, she had a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and that love was mutual. Carol also had a step daughter, Debbie West (Alex) and a step son, Stan Kelly as well as a host of step grandchildren. One of Carol’s favorite verses of scripture was: “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s House has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? John 14: 1 – 3. Carol loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
