Mr. Carl Milby Kennady passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022, at the age of 80 and just 10 days before his 59th wedding anniversary. He was born September, 12, 1941. His recent battle with serious medical issues showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite the trials and tribulations Carl stayed strong until the end. Carl was a simple man who loved the simple things. He was born in De Funiak Springs, Florida. After graduating high school, he moved to Atlanta Georgia. It was the spring of 1963 when he married the love of his life Pauline and he never looked back. Together they had one child Marcus. In 2006 Carl retired from Positive Press Printing after having worked for AB Dick Company for over 28 years. He worked in all phases of printing. While some retirees spend their time on the golf course or playing cards, Carl loved to spend time with his soul mate Pauline. They would go to many different shops in search of materials to fulfill Pauline’s many crafty hobbies. Carl also loved to spend time with his dog Daisy. They would go everywhere together around the yard. Taking care of her was a joy and light in his life. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Kennady, Sr and Lellen Kennady. Survivors include wife, Pauline Bruner Kennady; children, Marcus Kennady (Georgia Bowling) grandchildren, Chris and Pamela (John), a great-grand child Garrett and 3 cousins in Louisiana. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11 a.m. in Pine Lawn Gardens Cemetery on Cedar Springs Road, Blakely, GA with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Flippen United Methodist Church 3707 Jodeco Rd. McDonough, Ga 30250
