It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Callie Nicole McGriff, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who left this world on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the age of 52. Nicole was a cherished resident of Blakely, Georgia, and was born in Dothan, Alabama, on April 14, 1972. Nicole was a proud graduate of Early County High School and dedicated her life to caring for others as a self-employed caretaker. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to her work touched the lives of many in her community. Nicole attended Centerville Methodist Church, where she found solace and strength in her spiritual journey. Her kindness and compassion will be remembered by all who knew her. Nicole is survived by her loving son, Travis Scott McGriff( Kathrynn) of Blakely, GA. She is also survived by her siblings, Richard Royce Albritton ( Michelle) of Dothan, AL, and Evie Lynn Southall ( Chris) of Cedar Springs, GA. The father of her child, Scott Lamar McGriff of Blakely, GA, also mourns her passing, along with several extended family members who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Royce Eugene Albritton and Nellie Faye Albritton. A graveside memorial service to honor Nicole's life will be held at Pine Lawn Gardens Cemetery in Blakely, GA, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who gave so much to those around her. Callie Nicole McGriff will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
