Bridges Ezell

Marcine Bridges Ezell, 82, of Ft. Gaines, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, AL.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Bridges was born January 15, 1938 in Blakely to the late Marcine Ezell and Nellie Bridges Ezell.He was a veteran and retired heavy equipment operator. Along with his wife, Bridges was a member of the former Blakely Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Mary Elizabeth Cherry Ezell; five daughters, Joyce Boyd of Ft. Gaines, Diane Knight of Athens, GA, Laurie Cooper and Randy of Blakely, GA, Mickie Thornell of Atlanta, GA, Callie LoCascio and John of Clearwater, FL; three sons, Kevin Ezell and Shari of North Carolina, Steven Ezell of Texas, and Adam Ezell and Daniele of North Carolina; a son-in-law, Carroll Swords of Ft. Gaines; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Swords, and a grandson, Shannon Swords.
