Brenda Mulkey Johnson

Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, Lucille Road, Blakely, Georgia, with Reverend Gary Walker officiating.Visitation will be held at the funeral home, prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.All family and friends are welcome to attend. Burial will follow in the Sowhatchee Cemetery.
Brenda was born, July 21, 1954, in Blakely, Georgia, to the late Harvey Franklin Mulkey and Kathryn Elizabeth Mulkey.She held a Master of Education degree in Science and taught for over 30 years with the Early County School System.She also served in various ministry capacities with the Church of God and the Assemblies of God. She was dearly loved by her family, and was especially close to her niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Johnson.
Her survivors include one sister, Wanda Thompson, of Deatsville, Alabama; one brother, Franklin Mulkey and Linda, of Cataula, Georgia, one brother-in-law, Jimmy Johnson of Leesburg, Georgia; one niece, Sherry Campbell and Jeff, of Deatsville, Alabama; three nephews: Robert Mulkey, Jr. and Michele, of Hamilton, Georgia; Chris Johnson and Dawn, of Albany, Georgia; and Trey Thompson and Haven, of Gadsden, Alabama; and thirteen great nieces and nephews.
