Bobby C. Peterson, 78, of Blakely passed away on Friday morning, May 29, 2020, at his residence.

Bobby was born September 22, 1941 in Blakely to the late Dazza Carr and Edith Thomas Peterson.He was a retired industrial electrician and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Blakely.Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Mary Lou Peterson; his daughter, Sharon Peterson Smart and husband Shelton of Atlanta; his son, Chris Peterson and wife Denna; four grandchildren, Spencer Smart, Rebecca Peterson, Jessica Peterson, and Cole Peterson; a great-grandchild, Reagan Roberts; two sisters, Louise Whitaker of Franklin, NC. and Shirley Chambliss; and numerous extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-sister, Inez Evans.

A graveside service will be held at Blakely Cemetery.
